Draft for review. This page says in plain words what RsrvX does today. A lawyer has not reviewed it yet, and it will change before it is final.
Terms
The terms for using RsrvX as a guest: the menu at your table, booking pages, dining communities and RsrvX accounts on rsrvx.com. The restaurant app's email sign-up asks people to agree to them, and one section is for people who run a restaurant.
Who does what
RsrvX provides the menu at your table, booking pages, dining communities, RsrvX accounts and the tools the restaurant's staff use. The restaurant runs your meal: its food, prices, service and bill are its own.
Using the menu
Dishes, prices and availability come from the restaurant and can change. The bill your server brings is what you pay.
A restaurant can style a dish photo with AI in RsrvX, from a photo it gave. The dish's own page labels a photo styled that way Styled with AI; the menu list and other small pictures do not.
Picks are your table's shared list, not an order. Your server takes the order.
Call server sends a request to the staff on duty. It is not an emergency service.
Allergies and diet
Allergen and diet labels come from the restaurant and are guidance only. Always tell your server about an allergy in person. The allergy card and the Allergy call help your server, but they may not reach anyone when the restaurant is not taking calls.
A menu shown in Spanish is drafted with AI and published by the restaurant. If it differs from the English menu, the English menu and your server are right, allergies above all.
Dish descriptions, the menu's tagline and its look can also be drafted with AI, and a person publishes them before guests see them.
The server's assistant
The assistant's answers can be wrong. Check anything that matters, allergies above all, with your server.
Bookings and the waitlist
When a restaurant takes bookings or a waitlist on rsrvx.com, your booking is with the restaurant. It can move or cancel a booking and mark one as missed, and its own policies apply. Wait times are estimates.
Your booking link is the only way to change or cancel online, and anyone who has it can see and change the booking, so keep it to yourself.
Member perks, such as going first on the waitlist or members' hour seats, are set by each restaurant, which may change or end them. RsrvX limits how many bookings can come from one place.
Where a restaurant allows it, your own AI assistant can look up its free times on RsrvX and give you a link to its booking page. It cannot book or hold a table: you book on the page, and the times there are the ones that count.
RsrvX accounts
RsrvX accounts are for people 18 and over. Your handle is 3 to 30 letters, numbers or underscores with at least one letter, and some words are reserved.
What you add to your profile is shown to the people you choose. Do not use a handle or profile to pretend to be another person, a restaurant or RsrvX, or to post anything unlawful.
A membership joins your account on its own when every phone number and email on it is one your account verified, and your account page can ask whether a membership this browser joined is yours. If you add a mobile number that already has an RsrvX account and enter the code we text to it, the two accounts become one. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting a staff account that uses the same phone number or email deletes your RsrvX account too.
Ratings and reviews
Your ratings count toward the dish scores on the menu. If you share a review line, the restaurant decides whether to show it, with your first name and last initial if you added them.
Where RsrvX has turned it on, a restaurant can give member points for rating dishes, the same at any star rating. Only dishes served at your table count, each once, up to a set number a visit. Rate only dishes you had. A review line from a rating that earned points is labeled on the menu.
If a restaurant turns on visit reviews, members can review a confirmed visit once, within 30 days. Reviews are public on its community page with your first name, and the restaurant can reply. Where RsrvX has turned it on, a review earns the same community points at any rating, at most once a month, and says so.
The restaurant can hide a review at once for abuse, hate or someone else's personal information. A review it thinks is false or fake, unrelated or obscene goes to an RsrvX moderator, who removes it or keeps it. Nothing is removed for being low. You can take your own review down while it is up and no moderator is checking it, and you can report, block or mute another member.
Dining communities and rewards
Each restaurant runs its own community and sets its points, rewards and perks, and may change or end them. Rewards have no cash value.
What you post in a community, such as replies and What I had shares, must be your own and lawful. Replies are plain text without links. Staff can hide a reply, a reply that three members report is held for review, and a share shows only after staff approve it.
Fair use
Use the menu at a table you are sitting at. Do not misuse calls, try to reach other guests' data or get in the way of the service. RsrvX limits how often a phone can send calls and requests, and may block a phone that misuses the menu.
Do not book tables you do not plan to use, or in someone else's name. Give a restaurant only your own email address and mobile number: bookings and memberships are tied to them, and a membership joins the RsrvX account that verified every number and email on it.
If you run a restaurant on RsrvX
What owners and managers write and attach in Studio, such as a description of the restaurant, menu files and photos, is sent to Anthropic so Studio can draft menu changes, a look and a tagline. Studio's drafts can be wrong and change nothing until a person approves them, so check prices and allergens before you approve.
If you ask RsrvX's support team for a menu change in Inbox, the team may draft it with AI. A change to a price, an allergen or nutrition details waits for an owner or manager to approve it. The team can publish other changes itself unless the restaurant asks it to check every change first.
Go live begins your restaurant's 30-day start, once per restaurant. Add a card before it ends to keep paid features on. Without one, Dining Community features pause 14 days after the start ends and Smart Menu features 28 days after. The guest menu stays on.
